Two official forms already exist, in this order of preference. Texas Water Code § 49.453 requires each district to publish its own notice, and TREC directs sellers to use the district's form when one is available. If the district publishes none, use TREC Form 59-0 (effective 02/12/2024) and obtain the figures from the district.
We deliberately generate neither. A notice defective in form leaves the buyer's right to terminate intact while making everyone feel covered. What we produce is the same set of figures as the district filed them with the State of Texas — so you can fill the form in, and check what the district hands you against the state's own record. Those are two different sources, and where they disagree is worth knowing before closing.
